Rap & Hip-Hop: What are your five favorite songs of all-time and why?
1. D'Angelo - Alright
"We may have a misunderstanding, that's alright (that's alright) cause
you're my girl and I'm your man and, that's just fine. Girl your touch
still drives me wild." I can really relate to this song, me and my ex
used to have some problems but I always told her I still loved her as
much when I was angry at her than when I was happy with her.
D'Angelo's silky smooth voice and that smooth production makes this
song great to me.

Every MC shines in this song, the beat just screams out a name that
should have to do with seasons (it sounds like Spring, if that makes
sense) and the way in which wordplay is used to talk about Hip-Hop

4. Nas - Life's a B*tch
Even though I believe AZ outshined him, "That buck that bought a

5. Curren$y - Famous
This beat makes it for me. I've always loved jazzy hip-hop and the use
of a saxophone has always been my favorite. Never have I heard a
saxophone used so perfectly in a hip-hop beat as it is here. Curren$y
does nothing special, but his lazy flow suits this beat perfectly. I
don't think anyone could have rapped as well over this beat
(flow-wise) than Curren$y.
