I'm looking for a western that I used to watch when I was a kid. I'm
not sure if it was a movie or a tv show.
I can't remember who's in it but the lead character has a horse called
Moonbeam that drowns early in the movie. Then he is befriended by a
vigilante who goes around looking after people (sort of a lone ranger
type character). He's advancing in years so he passes the mantle on to
the hero. His identity is a secret but his defining characteristic is
that he has a colt 45. that has a seven shot barrel. Does anyone know
what this film is?
